BioAccel has been a huge help to me and Rx Vigil. They formed the company, helped secure financing, and provided business planning support and guidance. I am very grateful for the work BioAccel completed on our behalf.

BioAccel supports educational events that benefit scientists, philanthropists, students, and the general public about various topics related to the commercialization of life science technologies. BioAccel also expects to provide scholarship opportunities for selected entrepreneurs to obtain knowledge from existing programs such as ASU's Venture Catalyst program and local Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant writing assistance programs.
Additionally, BioAccel plans to develop an internship program that will match college-level students with opportunities within BioAccel and with the start-up companies it works with to allow the students to gain valuable hands-on experience.
BioAccel Educational Programs
BioAccel conducts and co-sponsors various educational events that inform scientists, philanthropists, students, and the general public about various topics related to the commercialization of life science technologies. As mentioned above, BioAccel mentors entrepreneurs to help improve their understanding of the activities needed to successfully translate a research discovery into a commercial application, which will hopefully lead to the development of future serial entrepreneurs. Additionally, BioAccel offers in-house internships to train students in all aspects of technology development, commercialization, marketing, and new company formation. We hope to expand the internship program to opportunities within the new companies that are under BioAccel cultivation.
