Philanthro-capitalist Network

Objective:

To establish a network of like-minded individuals who meet periodically to learn about BioAccel programs, innovative technologies and local new companies with the objective of creating a culture of understanding,engagement and support to expand Arizona’s economy in life sciences.

Profile of Members:

  • BioAccel Champions that help educate the community by actively investing time, talent and financial support philanthropically and/or through business investments.
  • Experienced and successful members of the business community with a desire to learn about innovative technologies that can impact the community in a positive way.
  • Individuals who can inspire other philanthropists, corporate leaders, and public policymakers to become engaged in enhancing economic development in the life sciences.
  • Leaders that recognize the need to change the existing paradigm to commercially develop late stage discovery research into new products and profitable companies.
  • Individuals who want to support a new model that builds an
    infrastructure that can help improve Arizona’s economy.

    Format:

    Casual quarterly receptions that provide updates on new innovative activities, a forum to meet entrepreneurs and the opportunity to brainstorm with knowledgeable and like-minded colleagues.
